The Story Behind Mindvrse

Born from years of working in healthcare, Mindvrse helps people relax, reconnect and explore the world through carefully curated virtual reality experiences.

It started with a simple idea.

For over 15 years, our team at Flix has been exploring how film and immersive technology can make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. Working alongside hospitals, hospices, charities and healthcare organisations, we’ve seen first-hand how powerful experiences can help people relax, reconnect and simply feel better.

As our work in virtual reality grew, one question kept coming up…

“Could we make this available to everyone?”

That’s how Mindvrse was born.

What we believe

Technology should bring us closer to the things that matter, to ourselves, to each other and to the world around us.

That’s why everything we create starts with people. Mindvrse uses immersive technology to make moments of calm, connection and discovery more accessible, wherever they’re needed.

Our values are simple: care, connection, curiosity and inclusion.

Our core values are: CareConnectionCuriosityInclusion

A Journey Home

When VR became something much more.

Our work with Royal Trinity Hospice introduced us to Suzy, who was living with advanced cancer and longed to return to Jerusalem, where she had grown up.

Using VR, we were able to take her back — before travelling together to some of the world’s most beautiful places.

The experience was captured by BBC One’s Inside Out and went on to reach millions of people.

Built on relationships that matter

Making immersive experiences easier to access, deliver and enjoy.

We believe VR should feel exciting, not complicated. That’s why we’ve partnered with Headjack, an established VR platform that makes managing and delivering immersive experiences refreshingly straightforward.

Using the Headjack Operator app, staff can follow and control the VR experience from a tablet — helping to create a more supported and collaborative experience.

Simple. Accessible. Supported.
